15 April 2016 (Fri), 8pm and 3pm
At Black Box Theatre

“清 Qing is a theatre of memory, reimagining the stories implicated in the Sook Ching massacre during the Japanese Occupation of Singapore. Devised using a range of primary historical documents, the second performance of 清Qing moves away from black and white stories told through national narrative to recognize the intersection of individual experiences. It tells stories instead of statistics. On behalf of Artslab, we invite you to be part of our ritual of memory, to engage with these stories, and to leave it with a realignment of the present.”

The performance was staged from 15th to 17th of April 2016.
